And remains so in round 03

After the crushing defeat in round 02 I offered Jabba that we would play again, me once more with the Black pieces. It was getting late and we were both getting tired, we had been playing chess for a couple of hours already.

In this game I tried my hand at providing some annotations myself, I hope they are correct and add something to the game.

I'll be gone for at about three weeks from now, but I put some chess programs on my cellphone: Cellufun Chess, Chess Buddy, HorseCourse, iChessDemo, ShredderMobile Demo, Spruce Chess and Webgate Chess.

If you know more, or have an opinion on the above, feel free to let me know.

I'll be back!

Terrific game, you really crushed.

I was wondering if 4...e4 would win you a piece with a nice pawn fork? Same thing with 6...dxe4.

There may be something I'm missing that makes the moves impossible, I often times overlook possible replies to what I think are good tactics.

Have a good vacation and enjoy your cell phone chess programs!

4.Nf3 e4! wins a piece.

10...Bg4? - This is not so good because 11.f3 bats away your bishop and you lose time. 11...h6! and now Black has no good moves.

14.f4?? axb3! - Yeah!

17...Bxa3!? - This isn't bad but 17...Bxf4 18.Rxf4 Bxe2 19.Qxe2 simplifies with you already ahead a piece--a simpler win.

18...Nc4! - Excellent.

19.Qc1?? Bxc1 20.Bxc1?? Rxa1 - You are much better than this opponent. I think you need a stronger adversary. ;)

22.Rd1?? Bxd1 - You do, you do! :)

I think your opponent isn't a good trainingpartner anymore. To improve you need somebody who is stronger then you and can point out your mistakes by either taking advantage of them in the game played or in the analysis afterwards.
